Terms of Service

By accessing or using QueUp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to restaurant operators who create an account ("Restaurant Users") and to customers who join queues via the platform ("Queue Customers").

The Service

QueUp is a queue management platform that allows restaurants to manage customer waitlists digitally. Restaurants track their queue and call customers. Customers join a queue via a QR code and monitor their position in real time.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to register as a Restaurant User. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at team@queup.co if you suspect unauthorised access.

Subscriptions and Payment

• Free trial: New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access. No payment required during the trial.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Lifetime plans are a single one-time payment.
• Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel anytime from your account dashboard. Access continues until the end of the billing period — no partial refunds.
• Refunds: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.
• Pricing: We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer or extract source code from any part of the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Resell or sublicense access without our written consent

Data and Privacy

Your use of QueUp is subject to our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Queue customer data (names, party sizes, phone numbers, wait times) may be used, shared, and sold to third parties by QueUp for analytics and commercial purposes.
• Restaurant account data (email, contact details, billing information) is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
• By using the service you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks on the QueUp platform belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without prior written consent.

You retain ownership of content you provide (such as your restaurant name). By providing it, you grant us a licence to display and use that content solely to operate the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, with advance notice where practical. You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting us.

Limitation of Liability

QueUp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify Restaurant Users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
